Dr. Mackowsky was invited to lecture at The 2015 Shine Conference held at WakeMed Hospital on March 13th, 2015. Over 150 health care professionals attended. This year’s conference offered evidence-based information for healthcare providers caring for patients with neurological or neurosurgical conditions. Dr. Mackowsky reviewed the latest screening/testing methods the health care professional can utilize in the clinic to determine if a patient with an acquired brain injury has a visual problem that interferes with function.
